Disaster Update

Hurricane Isaac

So far we have discussed earthquakes and volcanoes, but disasters can come in the form of water as well. It was August 20 when we first started hearing about Hurricane Isaac. At that time Isaac was a tropical wave (circled in red in the image below) located about 50°W and 15°N predicted to have an 80% probability of turning into a tropical storm.

On August 17, the Sun completed a square with the Moon's Nodes and Neptune. This was discussed here. (Notice below the similarity of the 8/20/12 Neptune square with the one on 3/20/12 discussed in this post, our last disaster prediction window.)

In our previous post about August 20 the geocentric charts showed this square with another square formed by Pluto, Uranus, Venus and the Moon. The astrological latitude and longitude are shown on the chart below for this day.

The latitude corresponds to the Moon's South Node on the chart.

By the 24th, Isaac strengthened and threatened Haiti and Cuba. The location at this time is about 70°W and 15°N.

The geocentric chart from our post about August 24 shows the Moon joining its North Node on the square.

8/24/12: Tropical Storm Isaac
Currently Isaac is headed to New Orleans, located at 30°N, 90°W on roughly the same path as Katrina. We recently discussed 90° longitude (both East and West) as being particularly prone to disaster because of the Galactic Center's location between Sagittarius and Capricorn, corresponding to 90°W. Trouble at this latitude and its opposite, 90°E, is magnified by the GC.

Southern California Earthquake Swarm

On August 26, Southern California near San Diego began experiencing a swarm of earthquakes. This swarm is still active, with the largest quake so far being a 5.5. The location of this quake was 33°N, 116°W, shown on the chart below.

8/26/2012: Southern California Earthquake Swarm
The latitude is opposite Saturn and the longitude is near the North Node. Tomorrow (8/29) is the last day of the Neptune/Moon's Nodes/Sun square, so it will be interesting to see how much longer these quakes persist.

Magnitude 7.3 El Salvador Earthquake

Also on August 26, a 7.4 earthquake hit off the coast of El Salvador, at 12°N, 89°W.

The astrological location is shown on the chart below.

8/26/2012: El Salvador 7.2 Earthquake

The latitude is near the Moon's South Node, and the longitude is near Pluto, the Moon, and the Galactic Center at 90°W, highlighting once again the disastrous nature of this longitude.

Major Reversal: 8/31 Jupiter-Ceres Conjunction

The Jupiter-Mars opposition discussed here and here and here has given a high in the markets. We have another major aspect approaching next week.

On the 31st heliocentric Ceres conjuncts Jupiter near Nasdaq's 36° (crude's 72°) harmonic.

Ceres is further from the Sun than Mars, so this event is even more important than the Jupiter-Mars opposition.

Quick update

I'll be out for a few days but wanted to make a quick update before I leave.

The top in equities came in on the 21st, so my attempt to pinpoint the day of reversal failed. But the reversal was 2 trading days after the Jupiter-Mars opposition. We still have August 25 (Saturday) and 31 as possible turn dates for another reversal(s).

Today is the predicted reversal day for silver and that looks to be on track. Here is a quick chart I made to show the importance and accuracy of the Earth-Neptune conjunction.

Silver Futures
Neptune conjunctions are very important to silver (and gold) because of Neptune's proximity to silver's 72° (and gold's 36°) harmonic at this time.

Silver Review + 8/24 Neptune-Earth Conjunction

Let's make a review of silver predictions.

We began with silver's natal chart here, establishing silver's harmonic cycle. We made the following notes:

There is a Uranus-Venus conjunction on 1/1/2012;  [Also noted here.]
A Jupiter-Venus conjunction near 72° on 1/26/2012; [Also noted here.]
Jupiter reaches its next 72° harmonic on about 3/1/2012. [Also noted here.]

The 2/16/12 Ceres-Venus conjunction was noted here.
A New Moon on 2/21/12 was discussed here.

The following cluster was discussed here:

5/3/12 Mars 72° cycle
5/6/12 Full Moon (Super Moon) 36°, Sun 72° and Heliocentric Saturn-Venus conjunction 18°
5/7/12 Earth 36°
5/8/12 Neptune-Mercury Conjunction near 72°.

Here and here and here we discussed:
5/21/12 Geocentric Ceres 72° (noted 2 days after the fact)
6/14/12 Heliocentric Ceres 72°

At this point we began to look at faster planets to improve timing.  We mentioned Earth and Venus 72° harmonics but neglected to note their conjunction on 6/6 which would indeed have improved timing for Heliocentric Ceres 72° as an important top.

 We then said:

...there is a heliocentric Saturn 18° harmonic on June 30, and geocentric Jupiter 18° on July 2. Heliocentric Venus 36° square Saturn on 7/3 may improve the timing.

And in this post we added importance to 7/3:

July 3 will be exact 18° crossing [of the Moon's nodes square Neptune], which is also a Full Moon near 18° square Uranus near 36°

Because of the clustering of important events on 7/3 we suggested it may mark a major turn. In fact it caught a top, but it was the top between a major double bottom and only 3 days from the lowest value for silver in more than a year.

And we noted:

 7/10/12 Jupiter-Ceres Conjunction 18°

Here we noted:

7/13/12 Uranus turns retrograde near 36°

Here we discussed:

7/23/12 Neptune-Venus conjunction near 72°

Each of the predictions above is shown in the chart below.

Silver Futures

On 8/24 we will have a Neptune-Earth conjunction near 72°. Neptune conjunctions are one of the most reliable turn indicators for silver.

90 East/West

The Ninety East Ridge is an underwater mountain chain in the Indian Ocean named for its position just west of the 90E longitudinal line.

On the opposite side of the globe is the Mississippi river, similarly just west of the 90W longitudinal line.

One side out, the other side in.

The Galactic Center is in Sagittarius, very near its cusp with Capricorn. Astrologically, the point between Sagittarius and Capricorn corresponds to 90° West on the Earth, and the GC is at a point little further to the West than 90°.

Winter Solstice occurs when the Sun reaches this point between Sagittarius and Capricorn, or 270° from 0° Aries.

It is the alignment of the Earth's 90° longitude to the GC (or the Dark Rift of the GC) due to the Precession of the Equinoxes that the Mayans were measuring. After all, the Mayan calendar is pentagrammic. (The 90°W line ran right through the Mayan civilization itself.)

5125 years in the Mayan calendar is 1/5 the Precession of the Equinoxes (25,625 years). [Note: There are varying values for this number, with the most common being 25,920. However, each pentagonal point does not necessarily correspond to an equal amount of time.] So the calendar began in the year 3114 when the Dark Rift was about 72° from its present position.

Since the Galactic Center is fixed with respect to the stars, there is a rotation of the entire fixed background of stars during these 5125 years as viewed from the Earth, not just the GC. That is, in the year 3114 BC, the stars of Sagittarius for example would also have been rotated 72°.

(It is a little more complicated than this, because Earth's rotation and therefore its longitudinal positioning is a function of its orientation in the Solar System rather than its position in the Galaxy, and it is the entire Solar System that is undergoing Zodiacal precession, not just the Earth. The Sun's (and planets') position in the astrological Zodiac is not the same as its position in the astronomical Zodiac. The astrological Zodiac drifts with the Precession and stays fixed with respect to the Earth's latitude and longitude positions. But I don't want to get too far off track.)

Susan Seymour Hedke's work demonstrates that as we are getting closer to the Mayan "end" date, disasters are increasing, especially near the 90° East and West longitudes (e.g. the 2004 Indonesian earthquake and tsunami at 96°E; 2005 Hurricane Katrina/2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill near 90°W, among many other examples.)

The last major extinction was the Younger Dryas or Clovis extinction, occurring about 13,000 years ago when the astronomical Zodiacal wheel would have been rotated 180° from its present position, with the GC corresponding to the Earth's 90° East position. The extinction was due to a sudden deep freeze, cause unknown.

The last supervolcano was the Oruanui eruption of New Zealand's Taupo Volcano, 26,000 years ago, or when the Zodiacal wheel was approximately in its present position - the GC (or Dark Rift) aligned to the Earth's 90° West longitude.

Can it be coincidence that such mega disasters in fairly recent history occurred when the GC was near its present position in the Precession, and 180° away? Could one of these disaster periods help to explain the strange correlation between the Ninety East Ridge, the Mississippi, and the 90 East/West longitude lines? Was the Mayan calendar really arbitrary or does it hold some secret for us?

It is not my contention that a mega disaster will occur this year. I don't believe the Mayans were counting down to the "end". But it seems they were counting down to a significant time - a warning perhaps.

Genesis 1:9 (the third day)
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

The Popol Vuh, Mayan Book of Creation
First the earth was created, the mountains and the valleys. The waterways were divided, their branches coursing among the mountains.

August 20: Another Possibly Dangerous Day

If squares are stressful, double squares are double trouble. August 20 could be problematic.

8/20/2012: Geocentric

The heliocentric view shoes the Earth squared Jupiter and Mars, adding to the tension.
8/20/2012: Heliocentric

Both this day and the 24th (discussed here) have the potential to result in a large disaster. But since this one occurs first, a disaster occurring here could help to relieve some of the stress that might otherwise be felt on the 24th.

For Kicks

Here is the upside-down trick again, this time on DOW futures.

The bottom image is the inverse of the top image, for an attempt to estimate the date of this rally's peak. We can extrapolate the top image pattern fulfillment by looking at the bottom image. Looks like approximately 4 or 5 more days, putting us at around August 12 or 13, one of the 2 probable timing windows identified in the previous post for a major turn.
