Nasdaq: February 8-10 Turn

The market rally was halted due to Ceres going direct as it formed a Great Triangle with Uranus and Saturn, discussed here.

The next turn date is February 8, when heliocentric Jupiter is at the Nasdaq's 18° harmonic.
2/8/2013: Heliocentric Jupiter at Nasdaq's 18° Harmonic
This will probably be triggered by a Mars 36° cycle that squares Jupiter on February 10. (In other words, the harmonics of February 8 and 10 will probably result in a single turn that triggers on the 10th.) Since the 10th is a Sunday it means the turn could happen Friday or Monday. This is similar to December 20, 2011 when Mars was at Nasdaq's 36° square Jupiter, an important low. We have always paid special attention to Jupiter-Mars aspects.

For references to the December 20, 2011 Jupiter-Mars square please see:

2/10/2013: Heliocentric Mars at Nasdaq's 36° Harmonic Square Jupiter
On the same day there is a New Moon near Nasdaq's 72° square the Moon's Nodes and a Venus 72° cycle.
2/10/2013: New Moon Near Nasdaq's 72° Harmonic Square Moon's Nodes; Venus 72° Cycle

--------------

The New Moon aspect may impact gold and silver as well, which were put into a downtrend after February 4th's Neptune-Mars conjunction, which gave a high on February 5 for gold.

  1. Hello,

Does this harmonic tend to impact SPX as well? Or are their respective astro cycles sufficiently independant? Perhaps it suggests that SPX will reach for a new near term high, as NDX "turns" back up having fallen into the harmonic dates you note.

    Thank you in advance.

    1. Yes their harmonics are related since the SPX's harmonics are a 30° counter-clockwise rotation of the Nasdaq's.

  4. Hi Platy,

Can you make a recommendation for an astro app?

I think that shorting the opening would be ok

  5. Thanks for the analysis, but 10th Feb will be a New Moon, not a Full Moon

    1. Platy,

Based on this sunspot cycle does your kairon software produce these dates as well?

    2. Nenner talks about the 2000 high and predicts a high in mid-2013. These dates coincide with Cowan's Beast cycle.
      http://planetforecaster.blogspot.com/2011/11/13-year-cycle.html

I think Cowan gives several reasons for the 2009 low. Off the top of my head there is a Saturn 72° cycle and a Jupiter-Mars conjunction discussed here:

  7. MP, this was a veryold scenario of Nenner in 2011, Dow target 5.000 in the end of 2012, and a war by his cycles, after he said in 2013.

MP, of when is the link you posted? Thanks

In november12 he was so bearish for everything and in jan13 he was in a mess in my opnion, he said highs in feb13 and he hesitated of the downtrend from this.

    1. This interview was in 2010 from what I can see.. So referencing is good to see how they are progressing from their forecast. Seems these sunspots are intertwined with these major cycles as well. So if they all align in a specific date they become more convincing of that turn date.

    2. Fwiw, historically the sunspot cycle has not predicted market tops very well. See http://www.scribd.com/doc/121496311/Solar-Cycles-and-the-Stock-Market , which shows how the Dow Jones changed through all solar cycles since 1790.

    1. Hi Vick,

The September date was brought up by Bussiere in the article that was linked, but the date I am using for this cycle is of course May 21, and Cowan has a few possible dates for this but they are all close to this.

The September date is not relevant to this cycle IMO.

      Sorry for the confusion.

  10. Olga Morales has identified Feb 10 as a "high impact" date that could stop prices from rising:

  11. There was an 8.0 earthquake NE of Australia on Feb 6. Large earthquakes often accompany trend changes.

  12. Thanks Platy

    Very interesting regarding earthquakes.

Seems trend change is close or maybe was a Friday top.

Monday or Tuesday perhaps in my opinion.

    Excellent analysis you do.
