Silver/Gold: January 6/9 Ceres Cycles

Yesterday's Ceres-Venus opposition appears to have resulted in a high for metals, which means we should look for a bottom with the upcoming Ceres cycles.

It was the Ceres cycles that were responsible for metals topping in November, discussed here, so this is a very important aspect.

Silver has a geocentric Ceres 36° cycle on January 6. Gold's geocentric Ceres 72° cycle is January 9.

    1. It appears that today's Ceres-Venus opposition (first mentioned here) will be a low for metals ---Yesterday's Ceres-Venus opposition appears to have resulted in a high for metals---Not sure I understand which is which

    2. It did not reverse back up at the gap fill. So it was a high.

  3. Hi Platy,

I am glad you decided to continue with your blog. All the best to you in 2013!

    Looking forward to your analysis.

  4. Gold has a diagonal triangle forming and we should see a rally to relieve oversold conditions when form is done. Stochastics are still on the move down on GLD a turn up would signal a trend change for the short term (daily). My Daily Gold charts have not updated so Im using GLD as an example. But we have a lower low to complete a 3rd wave or a C-wave in EW theory.

    1. Great MP, I think it is a fascinating book. Let us know your impression when you read it.

I use Kairon software for my Mac, but any astrology software package will work fine.

  6. Ok, I figure if we all have the same software we can at least work with the same tools. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. On a technical side we have higher highs on the SPX with our 60min stochastics diverging and curling over along with our SPX ratio shown on my third post its just a matter of time until this top is in (major or minor). http://tfaat.blogspot.ca/

    1. Thanks MP. If we get our bottom on the 9th it kind of makes sense that it is just hanging out right now not doing anything until the time is right.

  8. Hi Platy,

I didn't even know about you leaving CIT site until today. A girl needs her free space anyway. It is great that you are providing your knowledge here again. really appreciate it. Today gold and silver got hit really hard, this usually happens on NFP days. Do you think gold and platinum could be trading between a range since last summer?

    1. Hi CM, nice to see you stop by. :)

I am not following platinum that closely but I am more and more thinking that gold will go back down to its rectangle bottom (1720ish). Please read this post regarding Jupiter and Saturn cycles:
      http://planetforecaster.blogspot.com/2012/12/a-roadmap-for-gold.html

And this post is very important:

    2. Do you mean 1520ish instead of 1720ish if gold were to go back to the bottom of rectangle? If gold were to get there, I think platinum might get back to the bottom of the range near 1400...

    3. Oh yeah thanks that's what I meant. :D

  10. Hi Platy,

Glad to see you're posting on your own site, after discovering you in cit.

You provided analysis of AAPL a few months back and made some great calls. I remember the last you said that there wasn't anything important until late Jan 2013.

AAPL has pulled back the last couple days, after bouncing hard from Dec 31, 2012.

What low and high dates do you see going forward for AAPL?

    Thanks,

    Soren

    1. Hi Soren, good to see you here. :)

AAPL had a Jupiter-Earth conjunction at 36° on Dec 3.
      There was a G Jupiter 36° on Dec 17.
There was a Mars 72° cycle on Jan 1.

Just looking quickly here are some upcoming aspects:
Jan 18 Neptune-Mars Conj 72° Trine Saturn, Ceres, GT Venus, Earth
      Jan 22 G Mars 72° square Moon's nodes
      Early March (9th?) Ceres 72°
      Mid March G Jupiter 36°

When I get some time I'll do a more careful analysis.

    2. Hi Platy,

So, I'm assuming that you mean:
Jan 18 is the anticipated low?
Jan 22 is the anticipated high?
Early March (9th?) is the anticipated low?
Mid March is the anticipated high?

      Thanks again,

      Soren

    3. Sorry, this method only gives turn dates, not direction. I have no way of knowing in advance whether they will result in highs or lows.
