The Rest of the Planets

Of course the information provided here should not be used alone in making investment choices. Rather, you can look at it as kind of a "heads up" when something big might be right around the corner. Just something to be on the lookout for. I keep a watch list on the right side of the blog for potential planetary influences. But I can't explain all turn dates, and not all planetary harmonic dates result in changes of trend. And sometimes the dates can be off, especially when multiple planets or the outer slow-moving planets are involved. And I am new to this and still learning.

So let's see what other planets are involved in the recent stock market activity that we have been looking at. In previous posts we looked at Venus and Mercury's 18° harmonic cycles.

Planetary Influences on the Stock Market
In the graph above, Earth and Mars 18° harmonic cycles are added. Recall that Mercury is indicated by an orange "M". You will also see Ceres on this plot. Ceres is a dwarf planet in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

So we now have several planets putting downward pressure on the market at its highest peaks, often at the same time. What happens when 2 planets' harmonic cycles occur at the same time? Do they cancel each other out? No, instead, they add strength to the reversal. So it seems the markets had hardly a chance against so many forces occurring together.

If I have done this correctly, all 18° and above cycles for all the planets (the ones that "count") have been identified in the graph above. (Pluto, Neptune, and the Moon are not discussed by Cowan as objects that influence the markets, so I ignore them all.)

And yet, the story is still not finished.......

  1. Just a suggestion - the dark chart background isn't viewer friendly. A light background would make it easier to see what's on the chart

  2. Thank you for letting me know! I will adjust it.

  3. Just to follow up, the tool I use gives very limited options for background color. The only choices for light background colors are white and grey, and these do not produce nice looking plots, although they are easier to read. So I decided to stay with the blue background.

  4. Hey Darling, I commented here last October and have poked around quite a bit over the last six months. I am sure things have changed, but somewhere through here you commented about longitude to price and how that was something you hadn't tackled yet. Your website is so generous, I wanted to give back. Now months have passed. Even if you have already crossed the bridge, perhaps another reader will get a kick out of this. http://imgur.com/kFU0tHL If you are still using TOS or whatever platform just slap up horizontal lines and edit the properties to get them on the correct price and color them or use different styles to differentiate the pentagram from the 36's and 18's. These values are specifically the NYSE Pent on the NAZ. It is not the only way. Once you include this info you will see how price is a planet too and subject to planetary motion and interaction. What? Well look at your ceres action in '10 and '11. Do you will find ceres squareing and opposing price during the harmonic crossings? ; )

    1. You've got my curiosity!

Please take me through this step by step. How do I get to the horizontal lines in TOS?

For this chore, everything is under the "Drawing" menu in TOS.
Draw a "price line". Use edit properties to imitate what the screen shot shows. You can use "activate drawing" and "duplicate" to crank off lines pretty quickly. Use the list of prices in the comment above for now.

  6. I don't use TOS much at all. This is two views of the same data: http://imgur.com/5yrelER the Venus Jupiter Conjunction that marked a big top last year. http://imgur.com/FWBFbjD Hope it helps! Some rabbit holes are better than others. ; )

    1. Ok I've got the price lines going. This is great! Now I'm trying to figure out why you chose the price levels you did.

Jupiter is currently at price 360*7 + 80 = 2600. So why do you have 2664 entered there for tomorrow?

  7. If you are speaking of the TOS screen shot, there are no planets there, those horizontal lines represent two spokes of the 72 harmonic on 36 and the 18's in the midst. http://imgur.com/4Di5FfY

    1. Ok I think I get it, but I have to run right now. I'll look at it more closely later today. Thanks a lot for this, very cool!

  9. I know you are busy so I will let you go, but one more thing... Here is the last four or five weeks of YM with the same longitude lines superimposed. http://screencast.com/t/B9qeOCe2d6

    Best!
